Making a reproduction of an arm ring from the Huxley Hoard

This is the decoration process for a broad band Hiberno norse arm ring, as found in hoards such at the Cuerdale, Galloway, and Huxley hoards.
The punches used were all specifically for this kind of work, based on the shapes and dimensions of the marks left by the original tools.

I honestly can't remember. We made this video some years ago, and we don't have one at the moment. If I was pushed for an answer I would say that this type of arm ring would usually be around 50g of sterling silver - that is one of the weight units often seen in this type of Hiberno Norse arm rings.
