Making A Resin Mold with Only A Hot Glue Gun

Hi, when you mix resin try to stir it a bit slower and let it rest a bit to allow the air bubbles to come to the top and use a long neck lighter. Apart from that you have done a good job.

dunno if you are still into this but I am obsessed with the idea of a two piece mold with an injection port in the shape a of an ordinary silicone bottle cap. so you could just pump it with a silicone gun.

Maybe try using a silicon glue mat instead of a lid

How did you get the glue wall to look that straight? Every time I’ve tried going over the first layer it drips down and looks a mess x

I just went nice and slow with an even pressure on the gluegun and it came out like that, also letting one layer cool before doing the next one.

Yeah I do all that. I wonder if mine is too hot, it just spreads out and drips over the edge of the last layer. Thank you for answering me, yours looks fab x

I made a mold using a glue gun. I poured water. No leak. I poured resin. Etc etc. next morning can’t take glue off the resin. How do you get rid of glue?

It just peeled off of mine, sorry I wish I had some advice I could give I'm not sure why yours would have stuck

Did you dry the mold really well after pouring the water in it?
