Beautiful piece! I'm a real newbie to this process and was wondering why you didn't cool the soldered ring and then put it in the pickle. Is that not always necessary? Really enjoying your tutorials and learning a lot. :)

Because it got cut out of the edit 😂 Yes, always cool it and unless you love the oxidized colour you need to pickle it. #12monthsofmetal is a month by month series were I'm adding to the skills each month so some of the videos dont show the entire process when its something we've covered a lot previously 😊

Already had to use the plastic shaking box technique to get a stone out, as my floss accidently came out from under my stone😊
