Nice video. Where can I get similar “sewing weights”?
@annachioffe64544 ай бұрын
I’d like to know too! I’m loving the scissor holder as well!
@Faeriehood4 ай бұрын
Look for Cohana button weights. They are made buy a Japanese haberdashery company. If your in the States, try the Brooklyn Haberdashery. They did carry them in a variety of finishes. Pricey they are… but a solid investment, imo. Thanks for subbing to my channel, I truly appreciate your support and for being here 🧚

What a lovely video!!! Super cute scissor case. I can get poster board but not the other type of board you listed. I would have to use a piece from an Amazon box! 😊🙂Btw, I wonder if you quilt too. Would love to see you come up with a quilt!!

@Faeriehood2 ай бұрын
Hi Elisabeth, I thrilled you found this tutorial helpful. I prefer a PVA book binders glue as it’s archivable, flexible and non yellowing. But you can always use glue of your choice. Hope that helps and have fun making these 🙌

I’m glad you enjoy the video. But sorry to hear that it wasn’t everything you had hoped for. If you’ll allow me to explain. I choose not to include voice overs in my video and minimize the use of the English language so that those around the world who do not communicate in my mother tongue could enjoy the videos equally. I have struggled with the idea of using language in videos and I am still very much undecided. Perhaps that may change in the future. I do value your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to comment ❤️

So nice, I’m going to do some cases for all my scissors. What are the buttons at 5:43 and where can I get them?
@Faeriehood2 жыл бұрын
Hi 👋 Andres, Those buttons are brass pattern weights, aren’t they wonderful 🤩. I bought them here in Europe but you might find them under “Cohana Pattern weights” online. If your in the states, try a search on Etsy or I think The Brooklyn Haberdashery still stocks them. They come in a variety of colors and are super handy 💁♂️ I am thrilled that you are inspired to make your own scissor cases. They are such a great tool! Thank you sew much for spending some time on my channel, that means a lot to me. It’s great to have you here and I appreciate you dropping a comment. Wishing you loads on with your new project! Best!
