Nice slip joint...love the stag handles!! Try to add a bit of tan leather dye to these sun bleached stag horns...you can really make them show off in beautiful fresh stag colors...make's a world of difference, I think...well done!!

Oooh! You could make a spring back-pressure gauge like the rise and fall one! By using a force meter or whatever else would work.

Ese es un trabajo fino, usaste comparador para el cierre de la hoja y el resto del trabajo bien delicado !!! Felicitaciones de Buenos Aires, Argentina. ( Por favor que tus videos se puedan traducir al Español )

Really nice craftsmanship. The light antler colour goes well with the steel.

Yes I am working on another knife right now. In a few days I will be making the liner and I will make a video on making the relief cut. Hope it helps!

I've been struggling with my slipjoints and this is the first I've seen of relieving the liners. I think I'll do that on my next one

Mill relieving liners is a must! Cuts down on the friction and prevents the visible part of the blade from getting scratched. You can pick up a cheep turn table off of Amazon. I use a 1/2" .30 radius end mil.

Did you end up making your own pattern? I’ve been trying that route and they’re all coming out barley wonky
@deerlickridgeforge6139Ай бұрын
I've made several of my own patterns. To start with I would recommend ether taking an old case knife apart and copy the pattern, or go to Chris Crawfords website he had a ton of free patterns you can download and print off.

What’s that fixture called when you drilled the backside of the stag?
@lindboknifeandtoolАй бұрын
Yeah that’s an exquisite piece you conjured up there. Super nice man. Thanks for this video and your time
