I loved all of your ideas, and you inspired me to make one! Like you, I tend to keep things that are pretty and just can't throw magazine pictures, cards, and mementos from trips etc. away. I'm a teacher, and have 1 1/2 weeks left before break, and this is one of my "to do" projects just for me! I will share your content with others for sure!

I think this little Christmas journal is beautiful made from repurposed items.there are some junk journal people out there that have to have new scrap book pages or digitals to make a journal I would rather have a repurposed junk journal there so much more beautiful.❤️

oh wow - I love this video!! The fact that you repurposed so many items - product packaging, catalogue images, bags, etc. is amazing! Those are my favorite kinds of projects! They have so much more personality and uniqueness than "cookie cutter" things you get from a printable or kit -- plus they are cheaper!! I'm just a huge fan of figuring out ways to upcycle things and add them to a junk journal - thanks for a fantastic video!

Beautiful😍 the embellishment that had me nodding the most was the one you did towards the end, the round scalloped circle on the red square you put over the window of the magazine pic. It worked so beautifully with the image. I hear a lot of youtubers having a high number of unsubscribed viewers and it makes me wonder if perhaps it's not humans or maybe yt counts our tvs as separate entities. Love your adorable journal! I love using catalog images. I often use them on my pages and write thoughts around it or put plain paper on the back to journal. Sometimes I put photos on the back of catalog images. So many ways to use them. My favorite embellie is the burlap banner with the painted edges - genius. I am def going to use that!

The banner I used in this journal was not actually burlap, but a ribbon that had a similar weave, only smaller and tighter. Wow, using a gift bag is a great idea to use as a journal cover. A good tip for adding the cover, score the paper where it meets the backing before folding it over. Helps a lot. I love the snowman journal. The bow is so cute. I love the greenery tag.

This is lovely Cat, and so inspiring to me! I’d love to make one to share favorite Christmas memories, recipes, and maybe a little info on each special Christmas tree ornament. If I had one now, I’d make it a gratitude journal to share little things I’m grateful for each day even though my dear husband of 44 years has been in the hospital for almost 6 months. There is still a lot to be grateful for, even though we most likely will not be home for Christmas. Enjoy using your sweet journal. I’m off to look for the video where you made the embellishments. Thank you, Linda. 😊 Those are great ideas for journals. You know, you could get yourself a small notebook and jot down all the little journaling notes as you think of them. Then, when time allows, you can make your journal and add your notes to the pages. I hope your husband is doing well, and that you're able to find some peace and joy during this difficult time.
