Hey, I've been thinking for a while about what it would be like to build a Rubik's Cube from scratch and how different it could be from the existing ones. And here you are, doing it, and it's turning out incredibly well with fast progress. Keep it going! Greetings from Argentina! I hope I can buy one of these in the near future!

The cube is looking really really good but here are some small tips: 1: try making an corner to core magnet system by making small stems in the corners that are like 5mm long (roughly 0.25in) 2. Order the rs3m maglev kit and try to make an unique adjustment system 3. Idk just wanted to add 3rd thing Edit: 3d

Imagine the OV cube being used as a wr cube contender OV cube- say OV cube! (OV cube) then turn this way, turn that way. Then turn this way, turn that way

Corner to core magnets? I don’t mind if you put it off until you get a better 3D printer

hey i noticed something about the holes you did, you put the holes in the edge on the contact area edge-corner, and did notches in the corner. from every cube i have that has notches, i notice the notches are on the corner sides, and on the edges its *only* the edge-center contact area. i believe this is to avoid the notches causing catching issues. idk if i explained that great but yeah.

You could try to make the pieces disassemble able so you can add magnets.
@Opulent_Vision12 ай бұрын
thats the goal, but unfortunately my printer isnt accurate enough to make pieces that do this.... coming soon though
@hecker34592 ай бұрын
You should play with the core maybe like a ball core like moyu and maglev better 3d printer in the future maybe but so far good

You need to melt the pieces a bit with vaseline so they could be a lil bit more smoother
