Making a SpongeBob SquarePants Shadow Box

Oooooooh, who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Or is put in a shadow box display for everyone to see? This week I made my very own SpongeBob SquarePants and placed him in a 11 by 14 shadow box. For this build, I used: 48 mm, 24 mm, 10mm, 6 mm, and 4 mm EVA foam, 20 mm EVA dowel, 11 inch by 14 inch shadow box , hot glue, Mod Podge, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, and some acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a Dremel with various bits, a heat gun, wood burner, and an Exacto knife or box cutter. That's a great job Thomas. But if you'll allow me to criticize, I think that before you glued the doll you could have glued the Bikini Bottom sea as the background. But overall it's a very good job. Keep it up

That would have been a cool add-on. Don't know how well that padded foam backing would have come off. My thought was that he was trapped in the box and put on display. I'm glad you liked the build, and thanks for the suggestion

SpongeBob fact: the creator went to Humboldt State University(I live in the town HSU is in) and worked at a local burger joint named Stars where he came up with the ideas for the Crusty Crab and the rival burger joint in town is called Toni's which is the Chum Bucket
