I once made a morningstar with foam and conduit pipe for a live action roleplaying event. At first they refused to let me use it until I had hit one of them over the head with it. I didn't even think it look that convincing. I think mainly it was the pipe that looked like steel.

Yeah I have heard about issues like that before with wooden handles safety if they break and become jagged or whatever. Thanks for watching.
