Soldering is by far my favorite part. When things are going well, I enjoy scoring and cutting the glass, but I've found it's hit or miss on whether it goes well for me or not. I also enjoy designing and creating patterns, but, being a graphic/web designer by trade, that was no surprise.

Thank you so much for this wonderful series. I love everything about your four part series; the design is gorgeous, the pace that you teach at, all your wonderful hints and tips, fabulous explanations and detailed information in the description. 💖💖💖 I do have a dumb question - am I able to use your pattern to create bats in my work that I might sell at a market.

Hello Sonja :) There is an option to purchase the commercial license with the pattern in my Etsy shop for this purpose. You can use this link to learn more. etsy.me/2QvR7mc

I am very new to this hobby...like a little over a month since I actually started. I really enjoy cutting glass but it seems that I obsess over making the pieces fit back onto the pattern after I cut them. Of course, I'm not very good at cutting yet and the pieces never fit together or back on the pattern which causes me to constantly alter the glass to fit. Change one and you have to change the one next to it....etc. UGGH! Now I see that you are not laying the cuts back onto the pattern. This will save me lots of time. My finished projects look good but probably take me 3 times longer than it should. Thanks for the good video. I believe I can step up my game a bit now.

When I'm working on sun catchers or projects with less pieces, I have a tendency to not place the pieces back on the pattern right away if I got clean breaks. But, if it's a larger project with more pieces, I always put them back onto the pattern so I don't lose them. (Been there done that ;) ) It can be a fun and addictive hobby and one where we're always trying to best ourselves! Welcome to the fun :)

Grinding is what I like the least. Boring! I like foiling because you really see what it’s going to look like.

I would have to agree that grinding is my least favourite too!
