I don't like targeters lowkey. They are just ruining the game for everyone. But at the same time, Idk if it happens a lot, I really detested this one player that called me a targeter after I went after them when they were the easiest pick of the group every pass I made, or followed them for more than ten seconds. Like, bruh!! How am I supposed to play in your eyes, never hit you or go after you at all??? That person really ruined the game experience for me that match. While I do think it's justified to hit a Metal Sonic player twice in a row, I also believe that if you have failed to hit them time and time again, it's best to move on, because it's not fun for anyone else. That is a good argument, however the second the exe has a clear opportunity to hit someone else and instead walks by them just to continue chasing you, is usually the moment the exe turns into a targetter. There are cases where what I just said doesn't apply though, example being the survivor he had a clear opportunity to hit was shielded or overhealed, or if that survivor was just revived and has immunity frames (However the exceptions just stop working if the exe does it more). A good exe while yes, goes after the most annoying ones first (Metal Sonic, Sally, Eggman, Cream and possibly Tails if his aim is good), he will not miss a clear opportunity to gain a hit on an another survivor, as it's one less hit to kill that survivor in the future. Also for any goofy goobers who don't know what a targetting exe actually is (Yes, some don't know), then the explanation for it would be: An exe who misses clear opportunities on others to just purely chase you, in extreme cases, the exes ignoring the other suvivors. (Sometimes targetting is not as clear as day as these by the way, but if the exe goes after you for a long time, does not immediately mean he was targetting you.)
