The way the keys are attached to the frame look a lot like a Blickensderfer, which is actually an 1800s era typewriter. Yet, the rest of the frame looks more like an Underwood, which I feel doesn't fit the 1800s aesthetic as much.

Yeah, I'm not a typewriter expert, I just invented my own design... But the movie takes place in a fantasy world, not a particular era in human history.

Well, learning by doing... start tinkering with metal parts, learn the handcraft, start with simple small project and over time you'll develop an understanding of how you can get things to work and build more complex things... I'm also still in the process, there is so much more to learn for me as well! ;)

Super Video, aber die Musik wird mit der Zeit etwas langweilig. Dafür super Aufnahmen während dem Arbeiten. Das kriege ich meistens nicht hin, da ich zu sehr auf das Arbeiten fokussiert bin.
