Love your idea. I'm hoping I can implement it in my new box I'm trying to wire it now. Any chance I might be able to pick your brain if I have any questions?

Sure, I'll help if I can!

@@ClaremontClassicGarage Thank you so much. I will get to the point where I'm ready to wire it. Instead of doing the diode I'm thinking about just wiring two separate circuits do you think that would work? One for testing the truck and one for testing trailers? I've got enough lights and I've got enough room in my box to do it I'm using a plastic tool box at large 1.

@@1ton4god Sure that should work.

Is it possible to add a flasher unit for the turn signals while the marker lights are on
@ClaremontClassicGarage Жыл бұрын
It could be added but you would either need 2 flashers or install a turn signal switch if you wanted to flash left and right individually.
@balmeros272 Жыл бұрын
You could use just one flasher for both left and right, just means both left and right would operate even if only one side was switched on which would be fine as you only want to establish if indicators actually are working.

I would like to buy this tester.

Just gather up some junk and make your own like I did.
@balmeros272 Жыл бұрын
You could build an even simpler one for the sole purpose of checking trailers only. Metal box, few simple 2 pin switches for lights, socket same as what's on your truck or car etc, in line fuse holder, some wiring and spade connectors and a power source - 12v bike battery for example.. simple block connectors and tools.

You have a schematic???
@ClaremontClassicGarage2 жыл бұрын
No sorry, I never made one. I just made it up as I went.

I am not good at that. How much will you take for it?
