Bringing in the PRO to take care of cleaning up the top end was MASSIVE👍. Your precautionary steps were very well thought out👌. The end result was worth it😍. Can’t wait to see the Cerakote ping process. Keep me waiting to see what’s next😎

Looks good brother! I would suggest you either get a nice bar stool to sit on while using that thing or build a stand and get a padded mat to stand on being your height. And Oh yeah, get some windshield wipers for the inside. but yeah motor looks sick and glad to see your shoulder doing better. I watched this video on tiktok the other night and this guy had a specialist perform some pressure holds under his arm and at the base of his neck because of a frozen shoulder and he about cried when he could lift his arm above his head with no pain... He was blown away. Might be something to think about in the future if need be. You're looking good so far though. Keep at it my man! God Bless! Andrew C. P.S. I was the guy that called you "Paul" at Coops that one time. LOL (Watched to many fast and furious movies I guess. LOL) but glad that is your pops name! I was really talking to him! "wink, wink". LOL

Hey from Australia, bottom ends are no harder than top ends just get yourself a service manual and it shows you step by step how to, its not hard. Just take note of any special tools needed plenty of after market suppliers have them like crank case splitters. You'll shit it in and it won't go back together if you've got it wrong. Make a great vid. Doing top ends on a 4stroke taking valves out rocker gear and cam chains is way more dangerous as catastrophe failure is around the corner and it will going back together wrong. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sweet video, vapor hone is badass! With the Nickel plated bolts a cheap harbor freight metal tumbler with walnut media and some mother polish will make those bolts shine with 0 effort. Do not recommend stock Austrian bolts as they are painted and there is no hope lol

You need to extend your blast cabinet legs, my back hurts just watching you put the gloves on! There are improvements to be had with a better blasting gun, the generic Chinese ones are great to get you started though :-)

If you seal it well, it’s fine. One thing to think of is even ktm has treated bolts so vapor blasting the whole engine you may strip coatings off the bolts, leading to rust.

not with 20 psi, theres no way that compressor could even give enough cfm for long enough to take a coating off that wasnt already failing

Hey, Jeff if you see this I have a question. When you corner with feet on pegs do you lean with the bike to lean it over the way u want?
@JeffWalker84
@JeffWalker84 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. You always want to keep your head, shoulders, and hips in line with the angle of the bike. If you lean the bike before your body, you'll likely end up climbing out of the rut

@@JeffWalker84 Thank you so much. I’m a low level c class rider and trying to improve, what would you say is the biggest difference from low placing c rider or high placing c rider and what I can do to get to that level ?

Use Napa Aluminum Brightener on the engine and all exposed aluminum. Just used it on my CRF 450, engine, frame, swinger. Cleans it right up.

@@vintagetrikesandquads4012 first time I've seen someone suggest someone else should downgrade their cleaning and refinishing process in name of laziness, and because you personally don't own the equipment. Like telling a welder they should use glue because you can't weld.

Be very careful blasting an assembled engine. 99 percent of the time your going to get media into the thing. No matter how hard you try to avoid it. Best to break it all the way down. Vapor blast works amazing though. Nothin better for restoring aluminum to OEM fresh. 🤙🏻👍🏻👊🏻
