Great job again. Certainly looks a lot more appealing in The Prisoner livery compared to military garb. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and your loved ones are well. As Martin said, stay safe.

Thanks Ian, I did consider trying to make the army version with the parachute, but its almost impossible to obtain the chute/carrier. Hope you all keep well and safe too.

great job, did the same about 2 or 3 years ago for my dad a Prisoner fanatic. Went as far as putting the off brown panels. Really happy with the finished product. I photographed the process. 10/10 for your episode showing the process.

Great conversion. Would Dinky or Corgi have used primer on manufacture? Just curious, my question is a criticism
@narrowmindedrailworks4 жыл бұрын
Hey Dene, probably not , I would imagine it was something more akin to an enamel as it would have needed to be robust as it would have gotten a hard life as a toy. With these restos a primer is in order as its acrylic paints being used. Although I do sometimes use cellulose car paints and they go on better and give a better finish with a primer. Plus the primer can help to take out some of the surface irregularities.

Another great resto, thanks! I'm about to do a similar one myself, where did you get the axle tubes and pins from? That approach certainly looks easier than trying to round off steel rods as I've seen in other videos. Cheers!

yes, much easier and I get them from this chap on ebay www.ebay.co.uk/str/admc-code3?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
