U usually give us some better end-of-vid scape scenes to the music. I know u probly didn't bc this vid got kind of lengthy, but I always appreciate that part of ur videos. After watching a build, it let's us enjoy the beauty & serenity of the completed scape in the way that u get to enjoy it by being there.

Love the final result. It always blows me away you grab moss from outside. Initially I was like "what?" But any organisms on it probably aren't anything another creature can't handle. I'm going to go hunt for some today. I live in a wet environment so should be easy. Keep up the great work!
@MDFishTanks4 жыл бұрын
A quick note. When I say power feed, I just mean be right on top of the feeding. Axolotls actually take several days to digest food and you don’t want to feed them until they have made a stool…but as soon as he does, we will see it easy now, be able to clean it and get perfect water and then feed again :D

Beautiful. Yeah, “I feel more connected to it” does sound a bit weird, but I see what you mean. I can see a paladarium in my future. Meanwhile, I’m setting up my 10 gallon, ten dollar aquarium-on-the- cheap that you inspired me to start. Your neighborhood moss scavenging has inspired me again. Rather than expensive mopani wood, I’m going down to the beach to scavenge some free driftwood. (I’ll clean it and boil it, of course.)

We’ve all been eager to see Pancho’s new home! You had quite a vision for it, and carried it through beautifully. The mist over the moss kind of gives it a swamps of Dagobah feel-that eventual lucky betta may have to be named Yoda! Can’t wait to show this video to my husband when he wakes up in the morning, I think I may be able to sway him into the hobby by turning over one of my dozen tanks to an axolotl for him ☺️

Mature water has nitrates and phosphates and other organics which can help feed the bacteria in the tank which is a good thing, but you need also some mature media that contains the bacteria otherwise it would be pointless.
