Thank you!! I use 18 gauge wire for most of my trees. Once in a while I have used 20 gauge for the leaf parts. For the most part it’s all 18 gauge wire.

Thank you!! I am not 100% sure what you mean by stretch the wire. When making the trunk I squeeze the wires as I slide my hand up the wires. Sometimes as I twist the wires for the trunk I will use cable ties or zip ties to hold the shape. I hope this answers your question. I’ll also look more into it for better clarification.

Klemen Kolenc it makes me happy you are inspired. I spend from $10-$20 on the wire for a tree. Depending on where I get the wire from. I can do a tree in 1 day uninterrupted. Just a couple days if I only have a few minutes here and there. Feel free to ask questions anytime and I would love to see your projects!!

Hey i have a question about the material of the wire you used .. should it be copper or aluminum i don't have many options and I'm worry about rust

Shadi saleh that’s a good question. I use aluminum wire, it bends easy and does not rust. Copper would work as it bends fairly easy but can corrode and turn green. Aluminum is the best.

You may have mentioned before, but I'm new to this channel and wire trees 😊 what type of wire gauge do you use? Do you have any tips or advice for a budding twister 😁 Your videos are amazing. You explain this really clearly and have made me want to have a go 😊

Welcome to the channel and to twisting!! I use 18 gauge aluminum wire. As for tips 🤔 make sure you have a good pair of round jewelers pliers and a pair of small wire cutters. The rest is up to your imagination. The leaf parts are a lot of repetition with the loops, the tree trunk is what ever you are feeling is right for you. I would love to see some of your work when you are ready to share. I will be starting a community post where everyone can share their projects

How do you twist on the leaves? Made the trunk even if it's a little hinky for my first try, but I'm not sure how to put the leaves on 😂

@@03-_.happydog._-30 not sure what a hinky tree trunk looks like but I bet it adds character to it. I take the leaf part with the tail end and match that kinda close to same amount of branch end. With the tail point and branch pinched in my fingers, I twist the branch end and leafy end together. Kind of like twisting a bread tie back on a loaf of bread, that kind of motion. If that is still confusing let me know. I’ll make a short video of twisting them together.
