Hey hold on to that factory gauge cluster circuit board, more than likely those lines on it are silver!! Worth a decent amount at your local scrap yard, if you've got a handful of them!! Or you could try to harvest it yourself.. Pick yourself up a small ceramic bowl, some time at a work bench with maybe a razor blade & a blowtorch, you could have yourself a nice little silver button by the time you're done!! Also the chunks of copper wire that you end up disposing of, I really hope you're putting them in a bucket in your shop somewhere, cuz that's worth a good bit at your local scrap yard as well!!😉🥃 They suggested electrolysis and cementation for the recovery of pure metallic silver. Recovery of silver from synthetic chloride solution is done by solvent extraction and extracted silver successfully with amines employing xylene as diluent.

I still remember when you introduced this truck six years ago, I was struggling to get myself into the graduate school I wanted. And now, not only have I got myself a master degree in vehicle engineering, I've even completed my country’s mandatory military service (I'm a Military Police Private!) too, and yet the truck is still here! Time really flies brother!

being an electrician i'm starting to really appreciate a well done car wiring and those pdm are the equivalent of House Domotics so it is preatty cool stuff
@MrHughk1Ай бұрын
You need to cut a couple of slots under the weld and wrap jubilee clips round your dash bar to hold that electrical panel. Those 2 little alloy tabs will break with vibration and all that weight on them.

For the speekers get 4in replacements with built it tweeter then get 6x9s and boxes for behind the seats. Put a 10inch woofer between the seats up against the back wall facing forward. With that setup you should get pretty good sound without making it heavy.

Hi Gingium. I think you changed the Ohms at the One Gauge. Empty Ohm was 242 and full was 32. And when you did the input you set the full Ohm to 242, and the empty to 30. Maybe thats te cause of the inaccuracy. Btw, the bulid is awesome. Happy Holidays 🎉
@gregstoddard8097Ай бұрын
First let me say that watching you redo the drift truck properly is awesome. I've had great fun watching the whole build and rebuild. As others have mentioned the battery disconnect should be more accessible and not behind the glove box door. Also, usually disconnects are installed on the main battery negative to make sure they completely disconnect everything. It also helps prevent arcing by having the negative as the last thing hooked up.

Great job, I like that ecu. I think the rear strut suspension is located in a bad position, because it is in a vulnerable position from any blow. If you touch the fence at any of the ends, the position of the rear suspension will be affected, no matter how slight it is

Just a word about the automatic translation of the video titles/descriptions : Not sure if you've enable that on purpose or if it provides more visibility but I usually try to avoid these kind of videos as the translation is usually garbage and the content is often clickbaity/ai generated garbage. I've been subbed for years so I know what to expect (very good stuff), but i'm not sure it's a good thing for people not knowing the channel. Anyways : DRIFT TRUCK FINALLY!

Oh man, as someone who's done motorsports wiring, seeing a fusebox and a PDM side by side is honestly the most painful thing. You could have done your IGN, and all the functions off the Canbus keyboard, also both for FIA and common sense the main cut-off should be able to be reached by both people in the car when they are strapped in, going with a proper cut-off and doing a cable to the outside of the car so the marshalls can also pull the cut off if you put it into the wall and systems are still running.

Hard to tell from the video but it looks like you are using DT connectors. If you are, you may want to check how many amps the larger accessories are pulling. The DT connectors use a size 16 contact and they are only rated to 13 amps per pin. The DTP series use a size 12 and are rated to 25 amps per pin. Might be cutting it close on the fans or fuel pump.
