When you said the comment about the USB never going in the right way it game me the giggles. Only because I can definitely relate to the same issue… I’m still watching your video so Im going back to check out your technique for making this ring, Autumn Michelle

Thanks S Friday! I like how it turned out, but I wish I had a stone that was London blue instead. I like it better than the Swiss blue:)

Hi Chad, love your ingenuity. I've found if I bend the curves before cutting the exta length off, I can get a greater rounded (& easier) effect. Necessity is the mother of invention after all.

Beautiful ❤️ I made a ring similar to that where it wraps around but instead of cupping the centre stone, I twisted the ends outwards after wrapping around. I don't make many rings as I find I really struggle with them but this is so beautiful I think I will have to put my fears aside and give it a go 😊 Thank you for a grate tutorial xx

I always find your videos interesting Im not sure I have the strength you do. That being said would it be any easier to use round wire? Of course the ends would be more pointed, Beautiful ring
@chadssilversmithing Жыл бұрын
Hello Verda. You could probably use round wire instead; it’ll just have a little different look. You might try doing some of the shaping while it is still attached to a longer piece, as that will give you some bending leverage, and then cut it to length:)

Could you have bent the wire first then flatten with a file? Beautiful ring.
@chadssilversmithing11 ай бұрын
That would likely work:)
@lindahamlik6023 Жыл бұрын
Chad question for you. First i do not have a mill to flatten the ends. So for those who don’t have a mill what do you think about hand forging the end? I know it stretched the metal so one would want to use a much shorter piece and hand forge then file and smooth? What do you think?
@chadssilversmithing Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Hammering something works pretty well too:)
