Making an APC in Airship Assault

In this video (the first full not short video posted on the DrNoob channel in 3 months) DrNoob serving in the Redamura Imperial Army takes part of Operation Trough: 2. During the battle he hijacks a Vauhgray truck which is modified to be what is pretty much an APC. It is then used on the assault on Vauhgray 's last stand of the Fort on Crescent Isle. It's story and heroism is why it is given a video on this channel.

The truck lore: Used to carry shit blah blah blah Improvised armoured vehicles: When desperate time for desperate measures, tanks are called from their storage and placed on the frontline, however, foot soldiers and tank crew have become affective at demolishing these slow beats. During the invasion of Crescent isle, Redamura soldiers captured a Vauhgray Truck, It was bought back to base where superior officers allow it to be repurposed. A figure by the name of PrashalXD had a idea of creating a armoured vehicle using this chassis, he was the first to think of such idea. He added side sandbags to protect the rear passengers a box that infront of the drivers vision to protect the driver from enemy fire, a mounted machine gun on the roof of the truck and a field mortar at the rear. This became known has the Merlin(XD)-[___________] Armoured truck/APC. Copies started to be made, with many variations. All of them having machine guns. Vauhgray soon followed the idea of armoured trucks early on, when their trucks can carry heavy loads of equipment and soldiers, they started turning it into armoured vehicles, but they saw less combat as Redamura starts to take over the island. When captured it featured about the same modifications, without the field mortar and the machine gun was mounted at the rear. PrashalXD has been doing this before you posted.

The idea was eventually built on. Seeing the fact that it could be helped to effectively transport, and mobilise troops, the HICOM would expand its capabilities. Seeing that the newly created ‘Armoured Personnel Carrier’ was effective in major theatres of fighting, wherein generic Infantry offensives were less than ideal, with the ‘APC’ able to shield, and allow Infantry to move behind the APC, in order to move near to OPFOR defences, allowing a better mobility. This would be developed by R&D, which allowed a better chassis, with the HMG to be sealed inside the vehicle, like a tank, and with more wheels, it would have better stability, allowing a steady, light, and fast Infantry Vehicle. While initially only used by one side, after it was combat proven in multiple engagements, a few years later, the opposing side began to use the ‘APC’. This allowed a new version of mobile warfare, as warfare started to transition from Infantry capabilities, and numbers, but technology, and the industrial capabilities of a nation to outproduce its enemies. This led to a new type of engagement, characterised by two typical scenarios, generally. I - The Armour is moving across a road, or meadow. While lighter, and faster than other vehicles, the APC had been built upon, with heavy steel, and iron, as Aluminium hadn’t been used en masse by this point. This meant that the APC had been moving quickly, but could not outrun an Artillery weapon. Within this scenario, one of three things happen. One, a counter-attack of Armour attacks from the flanks, typically firing at the first, and last OPFOR armour vehicle, to stop an advance or retreat. Then, with surprise on their side, they would be able to quickly turn on the remaining, dazed Armour, and destroy them, or vice versa. II - An Artillery close-range, or long-range attack. In this scenario, much like the other one, they attack an Armour column from the flank, disabling or destroying the first and last armour vehicle. This plays out like the first one, however, it is much more static, unless it is a Naval Gun, wherein the Armour Column must quickly retreat. III - An Infantry attack attacks the Armour column. Typically from the sides, they are characterised by an Infantry explosive device, commonly, a RPG type weapon, to disable the first and last vehicles in the column, followed by explosives placed upon the vehicle, which would explode, incapacitating and disabling the crew, and vehicle. Otherwise, AT rifles would be used, much in the same way, incapacitating the vehicles in the column, one by one,
