Good!!!!i was make time ago one jig like this and i was glued a small wood on top to prevent the shims going Up at the end of the saw. When you push for cutting after the middle end of the saw,the saw turn can proyect the shims in my face. Good work! Greetings from Spain

That’s a great idea! I will definitely have to alter my jig slightly👍🏼 thank you for watching!😄

Good stuff, is there a jig for the sliding mitre saw?
@mwjoinery Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for the comment! I did used to have a bit of a jig for a mitre saw before i got this table saw but it was pretty dangerous to be honest😂 I think i have seen some video’s of other peoples jigs for the mitre saw but none of them seem very safe either. So I can’t be of much help I’m afraid. If i think of a good idea for one I’ll make a vid👍🏼

This is just an awesome idea!Also, looks like a Festool mitre saw? Mafell railsaw rail holder? Great taste in tools mate! I could Bankrupt myself on tools, there's always something else you have your eye on eh?!
@mwjoinery Жыл бұрын
Haha yeah my taste in tools is a bit all over the place. Was going to try and match tools but I’ve ended up just trying to find the best tool for the job. Had a festool track saw for a bit but swapped it for the mafell after using one at work and it’s brill. Yeah I’m the same! Constantly looking for new things to get (most of the time it’s stuff i would never even use)😆😆

Easy? There were like 50 steps. One of which involved cutting a wedge.
@mwjoineryАй бұрын
It probably doesn’t show easy they are to make in the video so I apologise for that but if you manage to get one made it makes cutting wedges so easy and can just save the jig and use it again and again
@cterry7777Ай бұрын
@@mwjoinery No need to apologize. Sorry, I am just being cranky. Lots of KZbin videos have clickbait headlines like This will amaze you and world's fastest. I am laying cedar in a sauna on a sloped floor with a drain in the middle and going mad trying to level it with varying wedges sizes and lengths.

Haha yeah that’s no probs I understand. That does sound like a nightmare tbf😆 hope you have managed to sort it?😆🤞🏼

Music sucks

I agree tbh😆 I had to use KZbins free music at that point so it’s very hard to find any good music😂
