Nice cube and bucket of brass too. I always find it to be a pain in the butt to get brass but in gerenal nice video and I like the info you give in the video has well

10:01 Instant flame??!! how, then the hot splash on contact with the water (unexpected) is that normal? Great video's and stay safe.

Hey K9, yeah, it was unexpected. What happened was the sand that was trapped against the hot metal absorbed the water, converted it to steam and we had a steam explosion. Par for the course with water quenching at times. Thanks for the kind words and I’m glad you like the content I am creating. 😀

As for the instant flame, Petrobond sand is made up of a mix of oil and alcohol. The heat from the cube and the sudden rush of oxygen caused the oil and alcohol to hit its vapour point and self ignite.
