Meh. He got off easy. He lived through the last generation where people actually talked to one another instead of through a screen all the time and didn't have big brother snooping over everything he did in the name of "safety". It's the rest of us that are still here that we should be sad for. RIP.
@ProudRow10 жыл бұрын
annaknowsu He got off easy? He lived in a time of difficulty. Our problems at the moment are so tiny, little annoyances at worst. And the rest of us are the ones that should be sad for? The man was amazing and deserved to live for a little longer, just a little longer. So he would have a proper goodbye to all us youtube fans. RIP Peter.

The man was amazing. He never told us of his problems, so we wouldn't worry. It doesn't seem so at least to me. The sorrow on his face in his last video was obvious and so was the feeling of satisfaction on his face. I could see that he was satisfied with what he had done. I wish he was able to live for a few more years. A few more videos for us to enjoy. A few more of his stories. Maybe I could've even spoke to him. I could've. RIP Peter. Rest In Peace and may God bless you. I hope you know how much you've changed people's lives.

Here in NORTHERN California, my wife and I are quite the tea fanciers (save for the cream). One tragedy, however, I suffered a head/brain injury in 2015 that robbed me of my sense of smell. Now... sigh... one tea is as another now. I am saddened that this man is no longer with us; people of TRUE class are quite the rarity these days. I may not be competition for this man's grace, but I am surely an admirer of it.

Just discovered your channel, and subscribed. Oh, how this takes me back to my childhood! My parents were from the east end,and I believe it was a good old fashioned cuppa that helped get us through the war. And as a teenager I remember buying '6 pennorth' of chips smothered in salt and vinegar from the fish shop on the way home from the youth club. They've never tasted the same since they stopped wrapping them in newspaper!

This brings back happy memories of living in my mother-in-laws house in England. This is how she taught me to make it. She added a spoon of sugar and a splash of milk to the bottom of the cup before pouring the tea. She used to give her dog tea in his dish. He would slurp down the tea to reach the sugar.

Happy to see the lack of sugar. 'how can you call yourself a true tea-lover if you destroy the flavour of your tea by putting sugar in it? It would be equally reasonable to put in pepper or salt. Tea is meant to be bitter, just as beer is meant to be bitter. If you sweeten it, you are no longer tasting the tea, you are merely tasting the sugar; you could make a very similar drink by dissolving sugar in plain hot water. ' George Orwell, 'A Nice Cup of Tea'. Couldn't agree more.

I love your pots, Peter. The one at the back was especially lovely. I am not very fond of squared off handles, though - they seem to be very uncomfortable to hold by when the pot is full. The handle of the beautifully shaped cup is smart, as there is a large enough area to get a good grip, even though your finger doesn't fit through it. Is it so that the british always add the milk before the tea?
