I dare you make an electric guitar out of a guitar hero controller
@Roaether8 жыл бұрын
That would be near impossible, unless you where to strenthen the neck a lot. Each string has a tension of around 15-20 pounds EACH, so they could be pulling on with a total force of 90-120 pounds, and a plastic neck could never support that. Even now, modern guitars have a steel rod (a Truss Rod) in neck to allow it to be thinner. it could be done, yes, but the ammount of work done on it (strengthening the neck/body, wiring it, shaving down and re-freting the fret board, etc) would probably change the guitar so much that it would look nothing like the original But hey, if you want to ship me a Guitar Hero guitar, the electronics, a threaded rod, and some tools to my apartment in China, I'd be more then happy to try XD

I think you are indeed talking about a metal lathe. Yes that lathe is much more accurate, but I don't have the money and the space for one. Besides all that I like working my woodworking lathe it's a really cool process doing it by hand, I really enjoy it!
