Just one word..AMAZING. Icon of the Seas is going to be FABULOUS. When people walk onto this ship they are not going to know what to go see first, or which way to go.. I can't wait till June 2024 to set sail on Icon of the Seas. The rooms look FANTASTIC. When this ships hits Miami everyone will be driving by to see Icon of the Seas. I want to view Icon of the Seas before it sets sail, so Royal Caribbean give me a pass please.❤❤❤

The innovation going into this ship is awesome. I found it really surprising that the rooms were modular or built off-site. Never been on a cruise before, but ICON looks like the time of a lifetime!

The technology innovation is incredibly interesting. But I think rooms have been built this way before. Sometimes I think I’m in a container in a container ship the way that they are all individually made with the metal walls and ceiling.

I booked a solo cruise for next May - really wanted a Central Park balcony, but I would have to pay for THREE guests. My TA finally found me an oceanview balcony for less money (I still had to pay for TWO guests, but at least I expected this). This is really a family-focused cruise ship. They don't seem interested in marketing to solo cruisers.

Be ready to pay $$$$$, I've been really loyal to RC for years, but lately they are squeezing every single dollar from you, a "nickel and dime" approach. Their itineraries (at least from S Florida) are the same that has been for the las 20 yrs, then they added the "perfect Day Coco cay and charge you ridiculous amount of money for amenities like the cabanas. Honestly I'm not cheap, but for the same money that I've paid for a Royal Caribbean cruise I've been able to go to Europe. By no means I want them to be cheap like Carnival or NCL (which I never travel with) that would bring a different kind of crowd aboard but I'm getting really disappointed.

Hello? What about improving the absolute worst place in a stateroom? What about the bathroom? The shower booth is too small. The shower/tub is too narrow. The toilet is mounted way too high. It's pure torture! The shower is often the butt of many jokes by the captain, but nothing seems to change. Hello? It's not rocket science!

Sadly not seeing much difference from Wonder of the Seas, other than a ton of fun for nasty little boogie eaters. Was really hoping for dramatic improvements.

Icon is to Oasis Class as Freedom was to Voyager. If you strip away all the hype, it's simply a very very polished Oasis class. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but I was hoping for a generational improvement in amenities and in the superstructure of the ship. Specifically, I would have liked to see the boardwalk area moved to the port and starboard similar to how the MSC seascape or NCL prima have enhanced the promenade deck to be really good public spaces. Additionally I was looking for one truly new feature. If you look at RCI History, they have some real 'wow' features... Voyager = Grand promenade / Ice Skating ring Freedom = Flow Rider. Oasis = split superstructure Quantum = Ripcord / Northstart Icon has nothing that seems new. Everything on the ship is just an expansion or rethinking of what was offered before. When I first saw the video I started calling it "perfect day of the seas" and I didn't see the point of simply putting the island on a ship (which will stop at that island every trip) I wind up asking myself, what's the point?

one more thing.. Am I the only one who thinks the front part of the ship, where the water show is, looks like a bowl cut? It reminds me of Moe from the Three Stooges. They definitely could have hid that part better or integrated it better into the flow of the ship design.
