Hey Justin! Thanks for giving us a, "peek behind the curtain", at Southern Mud! Your talent at making pottery is self-evident. One could tell that this was not your first rodeo at making one of these! Dad always said that, " The mark of a true professional is doing something difficult and making it look easy!" It is not hard to see why these "Ugly Mugs" are so popular. Should I be concerned that the final results bear more than just a passing resemblance to me?! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Well Done!

I am sorry but I disagree with you, I think you have a unique talent all your own. Each mug being its own is special! If anyone was looking at several on a shelf I think you would be able to name each one to match a relative or friend or neighbor or co-worker. They would each develop their own personality! Wonderful!

Looks fun I know what you mean by time consuming. I build custom Longbows and Recurves. People don't realize how much time goes into handcrafting one of a kind items.

Man i have made 2 bows and tried to film building one and something happens everytime. One hickory had a worm hole across right under the top ring . An osage had a crack in the wood that ran out the side and i just stopped. I have another started in the spring but i got busy and havnt finished it but im about too. Gonna char the belly
