Hi Stacy! Fellow soaper and subscriber here. I just wanted to reach out and tell you how beautiful your soaps are! You have mastered so many piping techniques and they always look gorgeous. You have definitely cultivated your own style. In your last video you mentioned that you were feeling uninspired... relatable. When I feel stuck I sometimes look to other soapers and some of my old favorites or try new techniques I haven't before. I re-watched your coastal shores video today (one of my absolute favorites of yours) and thought... it's been a while since you used any embeds. Maybe some new molds will inspire you! Or re-imagine a previous soap, try a different swirl or some mica lines! Glitter! Don't be afraid to mix it up! I realize some soapers can sometimes fear straying from the style they are known for. You can still pipe and incorporate new/different elements. Look how nicely your piping and embeds played together on that coastal shores soap! And the hydrangea soap you saved by piping after the cut? Beautiful. Anyway, I really hope this doesn't come across as preach-y or presumptious. I only hope to inspire, I have such respect for you and your craft. In fact some of my favorite soaps I have made were inspired by yours and one of my best "tricks" I learned from you. Adding extra glycerin to melt and pour to add flexibility? Genius. Hang in there, creative blocks pass in time. You are doing great!

Caroline Miller Wow! You have made my day! It sounds strange but I looked at my own Instagram pictures and found inspiration from my older soaps. I remember feeling so proud of that Coastal Shores soap because it looked so much like the inspiration soap. I mentioned it to my husband and we have been trying to remember where I grabbed that little soap. Thank you for reminding me that embeds can be great and so many ways to use them. I sooo appreciate your comment and thank you for all of the lovely compliments. I have a lot of beach themed soaps coming up! 💛💛

Wow your piping is something else .I think the music suits it so well . I did my first piping attempt on my soaps a couple of nights ago .I was delighted with it .then I sprayed them with witch hazel by mistake. The witch hazel didn't seem to have any negative effects. But the card board box I covered them with did lol . We learn by our mistakes. I'm a amateur. Watching you gives me a goal. Stunning 💚☘

Did the witch hazel work better than using alcohol?
@catrionaaldridge6544 жыл бұрын
@@bekahlynn3446 I wouldn't say better it was by mistake I used the wrong spray bottle. But it actually worked .it got no ash .came out just the same .😊

@@catrionaaldridge654 I am going to have to try that! Alcohol is hard to find right now so maybe witch hazel could be a good alternative!

@@bekahlynn3446 or try cover your soap up well .because it's the air gives it the ash .If I use my soap mold in the wooden box with the lid .I never use any spray at all .Best of luck. Warm wishes ☘

Gorgeous colors and swirls! 👍 I love the one with the face. 😉 Thanks for the update on the pond and waterfowl. Oh, so sad about the Swan. People speed here, going around a blind corner. I called the city to see if a dip or low bump with sign could be put in, because it is so scary. They said someone has to get injured/killed before they would do that. I was burned up over that. Still am. Hope your weekend is great!

Awww, poor goose. 😫 My 4 year old granddaughter Tayton said, "it is so beautiful!" I told her it was soap, she said, "no way Me'Me' it is too beautiful to wash my hands." Even my young granddaughter knows beauty when she sees it, she has my sentiments, too. It took me a long time to begin using my soaps, but I use them, now. 💚💙

Sad news about the swan. :-(. I'm not seeing as many ducks coming this year, although now that the lake is frozen, they may show up more. This soap is one of my favourites that I've seen you make! Beautiful piping (love the tiny sprinkles), and the colour scheme says spring to me.

Corinne HR Thanks Corinne! We seem to have a lot of ducks around but I’m missing “hoppy”, the tiny female with the missing foot(or whatever it’s called). She hasn’t shown up in over a month🥺

We can only hope that she's safe somewhere. We are having a snowstorm here this morning, but a hairy woodpecker is out in the teeth of it, clinging on to the feeder outside my window, and eating black oil sunflower seeds.

Hey again soul sista! ; ) Awww, so sorry to hear about the swan. I know what ya mean about people speeding...a lot of them here on my street, use it as a cut through and think it's the damn Indy 500! My "rabbit hole" aka recliner is sitting where I see the street and I see it continuously...it really TICKS me off! Ya know I have Ziggy and two cats, my cats come in and out and it scares me every time these idiots speed through!! Believe me, if I'm outside and a car speeds by...I will scream a few choice words!! wink wink ; ) No one has stopped yet but God help "them" if they do!! Lol ; ) Anyway...I love this soap!! The flowers are so pretty and the colors are amazing. LOVE that blue!! When ya first started pouring, the colors took me to "corn flowers". Awesome job, ya knocked this one outta the park!!

This soap is so fresh and beautiful looking. I'm so sad you had to see a swan like that, not everyone sadly loves our wildlife whether it be fured, feathered or scaled, I have a wetlands area I look at out of my bedroom window and I have beautiful black swans there and sometimes with Cygnets. Maybe you could check out some of the worlds beautiful Macaws,parrots and birds their colours together are amazing draw inspiration from birds and animals
