It is and it saves us so much money. We are hoping to store enough for at least 2 jars a week. I am curious how the warm temperatures this week will effect the apples.

We like making applesauce but our favourite tree has no apples this year and the tree looks like it’s dying. You guys are really blessed with all those apples. Do you make pies?

We are definitely fortunate for sure. We have that as well, some of the trees not producing. I tend to make more crisps then pies, the family likes them better. But nothing beats an occasional fresh apple pie in my mind. I usually can a few jars of pie fill for when I want a treat.
