The things that you're always able to freehand always looks so aesthetically pleasing that it's hard to convince me that you didn't pre plan the patterns on the balloon. And how you just could turn that into a lamp shade with one of the most gorgeous shadows I've even seen. The ingenuity required to be able to turn just a medium of drawing into absolutely stunning creations that I'm in awe. Keep up the good work my dude and I'm looking forward to your next video

How to get the shape 100% round again? Just inflate another balloon inside it. This time it wont stick and you just need to deflate it afterwards

What pen do you prefer the 3Doodler create or start? I want to know because I would like to decorate but I don't know what Is the best one for what i want
@make.anything
@make.anything 8 жыл бұрын
Well I haven't had so much time with either, but the 3Doodler Create is more advanced because of varying speeds, nozzles, and different plastics... so you can do a lot of different things. Start is limited to 1 plastic, 1 speed, 1 nozzle, but it's low temperature so you can draw on anything. So they're both good in their own ways
@Jasmin-dk3be
@Jasmin-dk3be 8 жыл бұрын
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel thank you did replying quickly. Also sorry I have one more question. Do you think that the hit plastic would burn or ruin anything in my room like wood shelf or plastic shelf?
@make.anything
@make.anything 8 жыл бұрын
Not with the Start, but the Create could mess up your shelfs if you doodle directly on them. But you could put blue painters tape on your shelf, doodle on the tape, take of the tape, then glue it onto the shelf or whatever you'd like. After a few seconds though the plastic won't damage anything

Hi Devin. I've been addicted to this project and finally tried it myself. I'm half way through and have discovered a few tricks. First, I'm detaching as I go. About a quarter way, my balloon popped and I just blew up another balloon using the artwork as a sizer. I'm looking forward to completion and possibly getting my own led lamp for similar effects.

@NoonehKradjian
@NoonehKradjian 8 жыл бұрын
Another thought, if you keep the tip of the pen a couple of mm above the balloon to let the plastic rest onto the balloon, rather than allowing the tip to touch the balloon which causes the plastic to really meld into the balloon... the removal is much easier. Also, the freezer really works! Also, I haven't confirmed, but I sprayed the balloon with cleaning spray which may or may not have made a difference. Has anyone reported the hairspray allowing to stick less than just the bare balloon?

Awesome videos! Are unused plastic easy to remove on both the Start & Create 3Doodler models?

Do you think that if you sprayed the balloon with a little cooking spray, the plastic may still stick but become detached more easily?

You could use yarn to stick it on the balloon Cornstarch + glue + water (in a container) Then put the yarn in the container Then stick the glued yarn in the balloon

Any thoughts on what would make it easier to detach from the balloon? Cool vid

Just wondering if there is a water soluble glue that it would be possible to coat the balloon in a layer of in first to make the removal easier.

I love to know more about how far the 3D printing technology can go and I really want a good printer at home in the future. But I must admit I am not quite sure that subscribing your channel is because I am interested in 3D printing or want to look at your handsome face reviewing all 3D printing Technics for me :/

Has anyone tried using any of the PLA plastic for the create on this? I feel like it would work but they say it doesn't just because they're wanting you to buy specific things...

if you put petroleum jelly on the balloon would it allow the plastic to form and set without sticking?

3D pens are great for 'welding' printed parts together.. This pen, however, doesn't use PLA or ABS, so I might look at another pen for that specific purpose
