This technique fascinates me! I've incorporated so many but this is a whole new set of muscles and agility! Great job, you're owning it!!

Great video. I particularly liked the improvising in the odd time signature tabla rhythm. I saved the video; coing to edit to isolate that section and move the result to my phone, to listen to it wherever I go. I want to be able to play like that. And I want to learn improvisation techniques. Improvising is something I've never done; so far (been playing bass for 3 years and a bit), so far I've been playing riffs and covers, and scale exercises. Yeah, I need to start to learn how to improvise; and just playing scales is not helping in that regard; I just learn to play the scales, that's all.

The blues chord progression is a good place to start, using pentatonic scales. The problem with just doing 'static' scales, is that you need to develop the ability to switch scale when the chord changes.
