Haven’t had turnips for a while. I will be making this. Sounds good. I have lots of frozen tomatoes with the skins on in the freezer. I just throw them in the pot when I make vegetable soup and chili and the skins separate for easy removal. I just wash core and freeze them. This combo sounds great. Thank you and yes Stephanie you are exactly right about the measurements for 1 qt using a qt jar

Foo needs to add a whole peeled onion and garlic clove and let it cook until finished Then he can Sautee Onion and lard on a pan and add the strained beans and mush them up using a little bit of the bean water. Boom Authentic refried beans

Hello Titus. Beans should be soaked for 24 hrs before cooking them and the water changed every 8 hrs. Beans need to be soaked to stop from making gas in ones stomach. Chickens let legumes come almost to sprouting which we should do to aid digestion. Love from Australia

hint hint you soak the beans over night in water, wash em take off any floaters, rinse again. but over night they soften :) wink wink soak em the night before, less cooking time yuck yuck that water was yucky, that's why ya wash them first and soak then cook after more rinsing the next day. but the greens looks amazing ! enjoy !

The soak water is filled with anti nutrients after soaking. Always toss the water and rinse. Also when adding more water to beans. Always use hot or boiling water. Otherwise the broth gets cloudy and dismal. Also no vinegars or acids (tomatos) until the beans are soft. Acids prevent the beans from softening. ✌️🇺🇸🙏

I’m shocked you don’t/didnt soak the beans. Looks yummy for the tummy! I’ve been addicted to baking/roasting varying veggies, making like a puree soup, and eating it with cheesy bread

I hardly ever soak or rinse in water. My grandma never did either. Glad you eat well too.

Do you use human manure to fertilize for your root crops, or only for fruiting plants like tomatoes?
House of Prayer. Watch old videos. It is going to be so awesome. Many lives will be changed for the better. Teaching, at times I do not soak or rinse. I like the steam, from pot, in the house at winter. Never had a problem. I like mine different depending on beans. Everything is good with all that boiling I love cooking like that camping. This is how it used to be done. Love this video....❤

Very nice life instructions. Just a note and not being critical but there won't be poisonous snakes in heaven or the earth made new for the poison came when Adam sined.
