Hey Pete. Good tip on how to transfer your mark onto the line you want to cut. I like the part about getting the lines made. You will be supporting the local business and making a friend that can help you out with your build.👍👍 Thanks for sharing.

Should also mention that after cutting and assembling the hoses you should blow them out. Because cutting them with a cutoff wheel usually leaves debris in the line. Great video by the way.

Great comment John, yes, I failed to mention that

Love all of your videos and I'm pleased to see you addressed viewer"s concerns regarding background music volume - thanks! Question - I can think of arguments for putting the filter before or after the oil cooler. Please explain your reasoning. Thanks and keep up the great work!
@PetesGarage5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andrew, I'm paying more attention to the music volume. I have a filter after the cooler right before the oil goes back in the engine, you can see it in the video

Wooooo almost there pete!!!!! Are you going to take apart the whole car to paint it?
@PetesGarage5 жыл бұрын
That's the plan. Have to take it all apart to paint the frame and under the body

Thanks Pete. Did you use sheet metal screws or rivets when you put the shrouds in?
@PetesGarage5 жыл бұрын
They are just held in place with Cleco pins, I'll use rivets at final assembly

Can you use braided lines to replace your cooling lines? I would have to tap the block to put in the fittings

Pete...wait a minute. Don't you know you are supposed to put the oil filter in a place where you have to disassemble half the car to get to it...lol.

I tried real hard to put it in an impossible place, but logic prevailed...lol
