Women living in Gökçayır Village of Osmaniye's Düziçi District still grind bulgur in the very old traditional stone mill.
Although it is very difficult to grind wheat in a hand mill, also known as a stone mill, which is a tradition inherited from our ancestors, village women say that the bulgur they get from the wheat they grind in the stone mill is more delicious.
The old lady, who says that she has been using a stone mill for 70 years, proudly explains that she has lived in the village since her childhood and that she feeds and raises her children with the grain products she grinds in the stone mill.
