My size Barbie. My daughter asked for two things for Christmas when she was four. A my sized Barbie and a baby brother. My friend told me I had better buy my little girl that doll since my hubby had I hadn’t planned on more children. She ended up getting both for Christmas after all. Lol. Got the doll under the tree and a baby brother announcement. That was about 27 years ago.

Leaving kids at college is difficult, and when last one goes…the quiet in the house was the worst! Once they’re done college, their choice in where to live can be hard too…all mine are hours away and not near each other either!🙁We raise them to spread their wings but when they do we are celebrating but also sad and look forward to when they make it home to visit.

Have to add that my high school (late1950s) sweetheart and his mother kept a note book of ideas for things bro make and sell. Paste on nail polish was one of them. He later got patents when he worked.

$50 was definitely steep..the green pieces used really don't go for an incredible amount used..it was weird pricing too because the other pottery pieces she had priced cheap, like 4 mugs for 1.00 and the other set for $4
