Thank you! I always watch videos before i try stuff. I like that you said i just have to pull the foot apart - i was trying to find some sort of release lever to make the ratcheting easy (instead of scary). The other video I watched suggested putting straight pins along the ends of the hole to protect them from overzealous ripping. And i never knew that the brush had a seam ripper in it😂

That happened to me. You have to make sure the lever is all the way down and push it back until it clicks. Hope it helps.

I want to thank you so much for being so patient and thorough demonstrating the buttonhole attachment. I spent about 4 hours trying to sew with the buttonhole attachment. I watched several of the singer videos, only you explained the part of pulling down the buttonhole guide make sure to pull it all the way down that was my problem, I wasn’t pulling it down hard enough. 3:08 I am so happy. Thank you very much.
