Very late to comment but I'm just going to start making curtains for my caravan. I actually found popper tape on Amazon, so for anyone in the future seeing this, that might be an option. Lovely colour, so sunny and bright :)

Most caravan shops stock it too.

I know you did this video a few yrs ago now, but can you remember how many yrds/meter of material it took to do your curtains? Our van has the same type of windows plus another one at the far end. Love the colour scheme by the way

I absolutely have no idea. I didn’t even know at the time and bought far too much 😂😂

@@TravellingBox I thought that might have been the case. I'll take mine down, wash the originals & have a quick measure up. Not had the caravan long but getting round to changing stuff slowly. Well done on the things you're done.

looks beautiful but how it works in practice? I mean hot glue gun... once my friend made amazing thing (using wooden pieces and hot glue) to hang on car mirror. First hot weather and it melted in his car... how is that in your caravan?
@TravellingBox Жыл бұрын
Well I had this van for a few years before I sold it and it worked great with no issues for all that time.

Hi how long did the tape last using the glue gun?
@TravellingBox2 жыл бұрын
Well I sold this caravan last year but, as far as I’m aware, they’re still going strong. They certainly were up until I parted with her.

great job! We're trying to put curtains in our 2004 Elddis as there are none. The tracks are there but no other curtain accessories like glides or hooks. The tracks are the narrow pink, pvc type with the channel facing towards the window. Do the poppers just pop into the channel or should there be some type of gliders in the channel that the poppers pop on to :-) (hope that makes sense). Love your channel and will now subscribe from down here in lovely NZ (though I'm from the UK in a UK Caravan)

Jonathan Lyon welcome from the currently wet and windy U.K.! Yup, mine just pushed into the rail with a bit of force.
