What a lovely video! Please remember not to overwork yourself though, please take good care of yourself! I want to tell you I ended up attempting deco"den" on a jar lid because I was so inspired by your videos! I didn't mix enough silicone so it turned out pretty badly, but I'm still fond of it. One cool thing I did though was that instead of paint, I mixed shiny violet mica powder into the silicone. It turned out so pretty, too bad my sloppy piping work did the colour no justice. I'd love to see you try it sometime since you actually really know what you're doing and it could turn out gorgeous in your hands!

Aw thank you SO MUCH! That's awesome decoden is so fun! I got into it just by messing around too. I saw someone else do it and thought "hey I could probably try that!" and mine were so messy looking at first ahaah. The mica powder sounds cool tho! I'm not that good at cases with glitter rn hahaha could be worth a try🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely love your videos! So helpful and your results are always amazing. I tried this technique and it smelled so heavily of apple cigar vinegar. Do you get the same thing?? About how long does it take for that smell to go away?? Mine still smell like ACV but then again it's only been one day lol.

I love the variety of charms and colors in this video. They’re always so satisfying to watch. I was wondering if you can leave the link to the girl’s resin charms that you buy from. I find it so difficult to find charms that don’t get repetitive. I also found that using nail charms are really cute, those are really small pieces but as a beginner, I haven’t done any phone cases yet and just practicing on any tiny plastic containers i have in my craft supplies. Also, one more question, what did you use to cut the plastic teddy bear?

Hey!! I used smaller decorations when I started too! Like embroidery buttons from Michaels or Joanne's! Here the link to Daniela's shop tho instagram.com/peachymooncharms/ . I usually just buy her extra charms if she has any, like ones she isn't using for keychains and stuff. And I used a cheap Dremel from Lowe's I think? It was around $20 but it came with different heads and I use it a lot. I was going to use it to scratch the back of my cases but the scissors work better 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven't! I definitely wouldn't use a flexible case if you want it to last. The silicone might stay at first but it will peel over time.. as early as 1 week in haha where the harder cases last a long time

Hi!! How do you get your silicon from getting too stiff to pipe when you add acrylic paint. I tried adding a little white and yellow and it got so thick I couldn’t pipe my case😩 so had to throw it all out

You can't add more than one little dab, it'll make it seize. Just buy white silicone not clear

Can’t find the silicone your using but will Gorilla White 100 Percent Silicone do??

100% silicone should work! the white will probably be opaque and not clear so colors might show up lighter when mixed. I usually use the Clear GE Brand !

Can you tell me how you thin your silicone? Mine is so thick and it doesn’t pipe as smooth and easy as yours

I'm starting to think it depends on the temperature and humidity of the room you're in... I've had silicone be super runny and also be super stiff while using the same brand and same amount of acrylic paint... Recently, on a bigger project, I had to turn the air conditioning on to like 68º because it was so hot and humid out. I haven't figured out temperature yet but I know higher humidity makes it dry faster for some reason

It's possible it's due to the temperature and humidity of your room... I know high humidity makes it dry faster. And cooler temperatures seem to be better for me so far...
