I love this, how cute! I am going to do this for my wedding! I love the stamp, but I’m worried about it sticking to the kiln, I wanted to check what underglaze you used and what you fired at? And is the stamp just a rubber stamp, but used with the underglaze pad? Thank you for this idea!
@BlankEarthCeramics8 ай бұрын
Hey I used this underglaze stamp pad: www.bathpotters.co.uk/black-underglaze-potters-ink-pad/p2156 and I fire to cone 6/7 but as long as you're in the range it says I don't think it really matters. It won't stick to the bottom of the kiln as its not a glaze as such. You might get a little transfer of the design to the kiln but that's not really a problem. You should definitely give them a go! your guests will love them :)

What are those bats you are using. I also have the same tool from Old Forge Creations. Love it.

Yes it's great! - The batts are from hartleyandnoble.co.uk it's their Russian doll batt system :)

New stamps should be “primed” in order to accept the ink better. It’s not so much the pad, but the stamp 😊

Ah that explains it thank you!! It did get better the more I used it :)
