That is how one builds a chair that will last hundreds of years. Those joints are incredibly strong. Unless one has assembled such well fitted mortise and tenons he does not know their strength. What a pleasure this project must have been as a furniture builder. It contains so many varied joints, it is a real test piece.

Rather than say '玫瑰椅', it is more like '禅椅'. '玫瑰' comes from '美闺', means this type of chair is made for unwedded girls, there is no reason to be that big. And 禅椅 is made for your crossing legs on the chair.

In most time, if you want the wood chair to be durable, fish glue or hide glue is essential.

他用的全部是西式的工具，一件中式木工工具都没有，可以说是毫无难度。而且我也搞不懂有些地方为什么非要用手工，有些地方就用机器。如果纠结于全手工那么就不应该用机器，如果不是，为什么扶手和背的线条偏要用手工？最后澄清一下，这种形制的椅子叫做禅椅，而非玫瑰椅。玫瑰椅的座面没那么大，靠背也会稍稍高一点，靠背也不会做成弯的，都是平板的花板衬托。

Si ubieras usado taquetes de madera aogados queda más original con resina de parota como pegamento en madera de parota 🌳uf una maravilla 😍👍🇲🇽 los chinos y japoneses antes así usaban sus técnicas igual en México pura artesanías sin tecnología moderna 🇲🇽😍

I changed office chair to a traditional chinese chair, and my back is so much better. sometimes simpler solution is just better than gimmicky new one.
