I love making clusters "for no reason" (i.e. not for a specific project). I always end up using them for something and I find that alot of them lend towards making fast cards. Grab a cluster, put it on a background, add a pre-stamped sentiment (I always keep some on hand), and TA-DA! You have a card. I love your clusters and yes!! Please keep showing them!

I could watch you make clusters all day long! I have never tried to make clusters (or base pages for that matter) without having a specific project in mind. And yes, I talk to myself when I am crafting. (and other times too because I am an empty nester that works from home so who else am I going to talk to?) Thank you for making me laugh today. Sometimes I wish your "neck of the woods" wasn't so far away from mine. It would be a hoot to craft with you in person.

Your clusters look great. I usually don't gravitate to black except for when I'm doing a "movie" theme. I've seen people use a lot of black on videos, so I purchased a collection of black papers from 49 and market and can't wait to try it. I like how the red pops on it and also it tends to look more sophisticated. (I can see using black with vintage wedding photos.)

Love this series!! Ok, I love them all but clusters are something that I really struggle with. Sometimes I think I'm like the Jack Nicholson character in As Good As It Gets with having to have everything line up and clusters just don't work that way. Thanks for sharing your creativeness. I get stuck on needing 3 coordinating clusters in various sizes. I do agree that monochromatic can be super versatile.

monochromatic just makes me happy. Try storing some pieces with your cluster that match then when your ready you can do the three cluster method by adding the pieces around your layout to tie them all together. :) hope that helps. What is the name of the tool your using to powder doen the cluster?

It is called a POWDER TOOL. There are many brands and types. some gals just use baby powder pouches as well :) hope that helps. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I hope your inspired.
