Hi Melina. Yours is the fourth video I have seen today trying to understand how to make clusters. Yours is by far the best!!! I have lots of scraps and think I am ready to add cluster making to my list of things to make for my journals. Rather a new journal maker and you and your mom are two of my favorite teachers. The clusters are great. Hope your Holiday is wonderful. I still have my Grandma who just turned 103, she still lives on her own with help for 8 hrs. a day. I Thank God for her still being around, she put in an order for me to bring her a turkey leg and all the fixings for tomorrow.

Adorable little clusters. Love them. Happy Thanksgiving hope you feel better. Dealing with a loss is not easy on holidays. I feel very sad my son who is 49 yrs old is moving to another state day after Thanksgiving. I am used to having him live 5min from my place all these years. Now it takes several hours by plane to get to his place. I will see him today for dinner And that is . Just typing this brings tears into my eyes. I need to make another adjustment in my old age . I know life goes on.

Don't rush the days when you have to travel for holidays. One day your children will be the ones who travel and it may not always be to your house (that's tuff). However this year I had a bunch and lots of good food to be thankful for too. We live in Ohio - my family lives in Virginia. My husband's family in Mississippi- children in Georgia and Florida. You have to share a lot.

These are cute. Melina, the first year after someone passes, is a year of firsts. Their first birthday without them. Your first bd without them and so on. It's a hard year. I became an adult orphan at 41. I'm 63 now and holidays, anniversaries and bdays are still tender spots. Hugs, Dear. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and I'm glad you feel better

Really cute clusters. I have a hard time deciding what looks like garbage and what looks like art from my scrap basket. Guess it is in the eye of the beholder. I'm going to have to practice getting out of my box to do these (I always color inside the lines!). BTW, I LOVE your nail polish!!!!!!!!! Love these I might have a go over the weekend. I do some of your challenges, and love to watch them all. Having no scraps is no excuse people! 😂 make scraps! Get a nice piece of 6x6 and rip it, it doesn’t need to be scraps, but if you’ve got scraps then these are great ways to use them up 😊👍🏻 holidays are so sad and difficult for many people, I pray for all who have lost or are going things. I’d appreciate prayers, we are being evicted and have nowhere to go, so that’s hanging over our heads, and with 4 autistic teens and my bad health it’s just even more difficult. But I’m staying positive and I know we are still in a much better position than others. I’m in the uk so no thanksgiving, but I hope you all have a great time 🙂🦋💕

I think found ones are often magical or strange and unique too. I can't imagine not having scraps!! I guess they have been thrown out. .

I'm sorry you're family is having a rough time with missing family. My hubby and I no longer have grandparents or even parents. He has 1 aunt still alive, he was an only child too. He of course has dozens of cousins, but they are busy being grandparents to their own families. I have 3 siblings, but they are busy along with my 2 last aunts. So with our 2 sons it seems to be feast or famine with a houseful or just us. We do live next door to our only granddaughters (2) so I make a point of telling family stories. Like the time my sister and aunt went from plate to plate eating the food left on plates at the table. Yhey then would bring to the sink for me to wash, grandma to dry and mom to put away. This meant that we ususlly had 4 to 5 people in a kitchen that was 2 feet wide and 4 feet long (between cabinets). The story of a neighbor calling our mom concerned about us. It sounded like screams from us and the neighbors horses kicking the stall walls. This neighbor lived almost a mile up the valley. Mom embarrassedly explained that we were performing terrifying dives off a board that was 8-inches off the ground. The kicking sounds were us jumping on the board prior to screaming as we jumped (dived). She apologized and thanked her for her concern and she would tell us to find a quieter pursuit. Lol They both are always just in awe of the thought of roller skating in the house before the walls were put in. They both were able to understand that possibility after seeing our new home being built. Telling these stories help the girls learn of their ancestors and what their grandparents lives were like as children, teens, young marrieds, etc. They each have a favorite story that seems to be told each year or when they want a story. Lol The youngest loves the story of my grandmother, her great-great-grandmother, as a child and hiding from her aunt, who was brain-injured as a young child, by hiding in the chicken feed bin and when the aunt came to feed the chickens, grandma would pop out and scream. Her aunt went screaming out of the chicken house, arms waving over her head, back to the house. Now I think it's wonderful that they know of their g-g-grandma being a mischievous little girl. It helps to keep those family members no longer here in our thoughts.
