Making & Comparing Dried Persimmons to Fresh

The persimmon is amazing. It's like 4 separate fruits in one. Depending on the state it's in. You have the non astringent crunchy apple like state, the gooey soft sweet astringent state, the semi dried state that's dried on the outside and jammy on the inside like a runny egg and finally a fully dried persimmon that's grainy and dried like a pear.

Great info! I’m in Ohio and have 2 Meader, 1 Native ,1 Nikitas Gift and 1 Ichi Ki Kie Jiro. They are still young and haven’t produced fruit yet. Prok, Yates and Rosseyanka are what I want to add next!! Where did you get your Celebrity? I haven’t seen it for sale before. Thanks for your great video’s! You have taught me a lot about figs!🙂
