Pretty cool . I made something similar with just graphite and pva and cross linked it . Worked well

Great input. Been enjoying your videos lately. Perhaps will there's gonna be a video on hydrogel or aerogel preparation using directional freeze drying?

Will the material still conduct electricity when it dries?
@polymerscope6881 Жыл бұрын
No, when it is getting dry, its conductivity is decreases, ıf get fully dry state, it is not covinductive

Why do you put cellulose in?? What is the role of cellulose?
@polymerscope68812 жыл бұрын
Polypyrrole is an insoluble polymer. For this reason, a support material is used by coating it. Microcrystaline cellulose (MCC) used as support material for Polypyrrole. U can use other materials as support such as clay, silica, nano-micro polymers.

Thank you for your video. What is the role of CMC?
@polymerscope6881 Жыл бұрын
Here the CMC acts as a support for its coating with polypyrrole.

Can you use unmodified cellulose instead of MCC?
@polymerscope6881 Жыл бұрын
No because, its required the unsoluable. Normal cellulose such as carboxymethyl cellulose soluable in water but CNC isnt soluable.
