I started watching you guys in 2016; Boston's surgery vlog was the first video I ever saw and I was hooked. I don't know why the channel seems to have totally fallen off my radar for the past year (I checked, I'm still subscribed!) but I'm glad I found you guys again. What's always drawn me to your family so much is your old-fashioned values. Too many people would take that as an insult. But the efforts of you and Joel to raise your kids right have clearly paid off. I know too many people who wouldn't dare to take their kids to a restaurant because they're too out of control for it to be enjoyable for anyone. I know too many people who don't bother to include their kids in tasks like baking or yard work because it's "too difficult". The way you guys are reminds me a lot of my own upbringing from not that long ago, and the values that were instilled in me by my parents and grandparents. That connection and carrying on traditions is so important and it's nice to see people who still cherish a traditional life. In short...I have a feeling your kids are some of the best behaved, most well-mannered, and respectful ones around. It's been a joy to watch them grow.

My family has always made oreo balls growing up, and when I was younger I always called it "reindeer poop", so now every Christmas we make reindeer poop. We don't dip them in chocolate, we cover them in powder sugar or cocoa:) lollll love you guys, and Merry Christmas

Joel we still put our pop (aka soda) outside even when we don't have snow, it's cold enough. Bonnie, I got candy cane oeros at Walmart (their brand) and made these and just put some dark cocoa on them.. so good!

My grandma makes the Oreo balls for my dad’s birthday and for his Christmas gift every year. She does them the exact same way too except she uses dark chocolate on top! So cool. Merry Christmas!

Fun tip! I started making these years ago when you shared the recipe, we love them so much. But I’ve found using a slotted spoon when dipping them in the chocolate is sooo helpful! Perfectly coats them and the excess drips through the spoon! Merry Christmas Hoellein Family! 🎄💕

Olivia’s about going to the hospital once she done her nails reminds me of my friend when she was about the same age. We found a cat we couldn’t keep and her mum said she would take it but depended on her current cat, let’s just say it didn’t work out but we ended up keeping her, we were trying to get out the house and take my friends mum to hospital cause she got caught between the two cats and had a heap of scratches and my friend had to iron her skirt first.
