I have a challange for you, you start with just one of the four elements, and you’re only allowed to combine that with stuff, so let’s say you start with earth, then you can’t use fire, water or wind at all, so everything you get will have been from only earth, and then your goal is to get the other 3 elements from that, and once you’ve gotten an element you’re allowed to use that as well, I only know that it’s possible when you start with earth, as I’ve completed the challange myself with that, but it’s probably possible if you start with the other elements as well

Try getting to the word "Bittersweet" dude I tried because it's a word in one of my usernames and it WAS. NOT. HAVING. IT. Lololol I got "bitter" and "sweet" but they didn't combine but there still may be a way of making a word that starts with Bitter and then swap the second part for sweet, who knows? I’ve actually created something of a field of ai psychology in this game, in which objects are ranked relatively in two ways, relatedness and weirdness, weirdness metric usually directly affects combinations, it determines whether or not an object can really interact with anything at all, although weirdness seems to be a byproduct of relatedness being generalized, as a very weird thing is often not related to many things, whereas relatedness is more akin to a fundamental law in infinite craft, and has many effects, first of all, to explain relatedness, I must share my theory on how combinations work, every object keeps a list of the most related objects to it, if two elements share an object very related to both of them, they will combine to make that thing, if they don’t have one thing that is closely related to both, that’s where things get interesting, if one has a low weirdness score and the other has a high one, one of two things will happen. If the non weird thing has one specific object that’s close to it, it will default to that, sometimes even when the other object isn’t even that weird, it just doesn’t have anything super closely related, and, this phenomena often is dual sided, so in cases like swamp and marsh, they can become paired, the earlier case with them both not being weird and being closely related makes a similar yet weaker phenomenon called a triplet, but back to the topic at hand, if a non weird and weird thing combine and the non weird thing doesn’t have a good pair, often, the mixture will very likely spit the weird object back out, and finally to see what happens when you mix two weird things together, it depends on a new thing called the weirdness threshold, if the two are below the threshold, they will often actually create a compound word, which has a whole bunch of interesting properties in its own right, and if you go past the threshold, you will likely not get much at all from it, probably won’t even mix, but that was a huge rant on what I would like to call infacology, the study of infinite craft.

Also, that rant does explain a bit of my reasoning on why these challenges aren’t that meaningful, you can easily overwrite dirt with some pair and make it just come from a more useful part of infinite craft, just making a new crypto currency would be evidence enough.
