this is BRILLIANT! I don't have a 'proper' vacuum cleaner (no carpeting), just my roomba (which is awesome) and a stick-to-hand vac, which works just fine EXCEPT the 'mouth' on it is oval, like the sander (I think?) from your first example, so this may be my solution! I don't have a heat gun so I will see how well my hair dryer does, and if not I'll get a cheap gun - easier than trying to find a hose adapter for the vac - and boom, no more sawdust!

For this to give good results, you need to make sure you have a bottle that has a very long tapered top, such as this Mountain Dew bottle. Other PET (polyethylene) bottles will work, but you will realize that the plastic shrinks to a certain point, then it simply stops shrinking. I can't find Mountain Dew bottles such as these shown in the video, and I haven't found a suitable replacement yet.

Can you solve this problem? I have a "Eureka Blaze" stick vac. Like most 2 in 1 stick vacs, this converts from a stick/handle floor vac to a small hand vac when stick/handle is removed. It comes with crevice tool with oval end that inserts into the oval opening of the hand vac. But NO dust brush for cleaning furniture, drapes, blinds, etc. How would you create a dust brush hack to attach to the hand vac like the crevice tool does? Obviously use one of the hundreds of generic dust brushes available, however, they have round connections to connect to the typical round vacuum wand. The answer is found in creating a "connector" that is oval on one end to connect to hand vac, and round on the other end to connect to a dust brush. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks! And you are so smart in many different ways, including the absence of annoying music and confusing dialogue!

Anyone try putting a second or 3rd bottle over the first, multiple layers, build up thicker walls, to add durability and maintain structure enough to stay put when theres more pressure on the joint, like say when the attached end sucks down on a hard floor unexpectedly and you don't stop forward momentum quite fast enough and it buckles and pops off 😂
