Making Dangerous Cassowaries Mate Could Prove Deadly 😳 Bondi Vet

At the Australian Reptile Park, the discovery of some cassowary eggs has everyone excited. It means the feisty female is ready for mating. But Tim is extremely concerned about how safe it will be to introduce a male into the enclosure.
Two little stray ducklings that were found on the side of a road are brought into SASH. The nurses give them a health check, and then the race is on to find them a new home.

Crocodiles aren’t as dangerous once you know how to work with them. Same deal with milking venomous animals! Cassowaries however are EXTREMELY strong with huge claws 😅 even if you know how to work with them they could still manage to kick the shield out of your hand then tear into you

They said that this is the first time the female has laid eggs, so that means that the first time they were together the female would not have been sexually receptive. That could very likely have been why they got into a fight.

I'm not an expert on this, but I will tell you this. She's rolled that egg out there. So you would find other eggs, so you would let her in with that mail. I've sent it done with Ducks and geese.

She won't be taking care of them the male will be in the wild the female leaves the eggs to the male to raise while she goes out and mates with other males

Most zoos would shut the animal inside, especially a dangerous animal, in order to prevent injury or stress to the animal or human. Why do they decide it's better to go combat mode in tv shows like this? They think it's impressive tv but it's super stressful for the animals and dangerous.
