I have the same machine and i can't for the life of me get the buttons to connect. A small part of the metal doesn't bend to the backing :(

Hello! The first one I did it happened to me. I was putting the plastic back upside down. I don’t know if you had tried that but try to watch the video in minute 8:50 to see if you can watch what I do and see if you are doing different. Hopefully help. This machine is tricky for sureee.
