Everyone always goes in skeptical about this build and once you try it out it just FEELS superior. It's probably the fact that your Q and R hit like a damn truck, it's nice to chunk people with those.

Galeforce feels so weak til you hit IE, and that's an insanely long time to wait to feel impactful. The power curve feel so much better, straight up superior in most cases. Galeforce nerf on the active just makes me feel like it's a sunken investment as soon as you're on cd, kinda like GA.

it is not superior against tanky team, it's just a circumstances build, as an example play this build against mao jg, orn top, and rell/leona support and you deal 0 damage, the build is not bad but you need to know when to play it, and you must snowball your lane, else 3rd item powerspike will eat you since you still build IE but as 4th. Galeforce feels weak because people builds rfc or collector which is trash tier in every adc except maybe Miss fortune and Samira, you can just buy BT or dominik and deal tons of damage.

@@yoifre1234 LDR IS the 3rd item for this build. IE is 4th bc you need more crit chance for the passive. You can argue most builds are situational, sure, but this one has a strong case for general use.

@@03VickE3 as I said you can't expect this build to work on tanky teams, low ELO you could build anything and still somehow make it work, but gale force BT is superior to eclipse collector, and 3rd item powerspike is better so, unless yo snowball before getting eclipse you're wasting gold, saber can play this build all day he masters Cait and the adc role, but for 99% of the others it's suboptimal.

@@yoifre1234 if a team was as tanky as you described, why would you not go kraken slayer? GF/BT and eclipse/collector parce oddly close to one another in practice tool (target 2500hp and 200 armor) with favor going to galeforce/BT (~205dps vs 185), but they both lose to kraken/ldr by a lot (~355dps)... bc that would make more sense vs the team you described. Look, I get it isn't optimal in all cases, but it just seems like you haven't played it. The fact that you can go ldr second doesn't change vs either build, so that comes down to responding to enemy builds and game state. It's fun man, that's all I'm saying. More people should at least check it out.

The lvl 1 hooks didnt hit bcs of the river ground level diffrence(river is lower so skillshots work diffrently), if u were wondering

The end of this video sums up the argument for the build perfectly, "Well gale gives you 100%crit and makes your a lot faster" "yeah but pd 6th gives you the MS and the 100%crit"

@@Azun_Kurone honestly I had to look it up because I didn't believe you, but now that simplifies it even more They have the same AD so, You lose the active, AS, and 20Crit For the lethality, onivamp, and scaling passive

Been one tricking Cait for a while now and I strictly stick to this build every time. It may be tough early game if you don’t get ahead but it just always feels superior. I’ve had so many comeback games when down early because of how hard it scales. Then when you sell boots for PD forget about it.

why did you went Cut Down rune in this particular game, was it worth 857 bonus damage in total match? I just want to know the value of this rune

Cut Down is almost always superior to Coup de Grace on an ADC since you'll always have the lowest hp pool out of everyone

coup kinda doesn't do anything most of the time, hard to find value in the last rune of the precision tree sometimes
