Yeah it works, some of them can last for years even a decade. Would advise if you do it again to take it from a slower moving body of water like a lake or pond. Rivers have less microorganism life in them because the water moves faster. Is your ecosphere still alive?

Pompiduk oh cool! Thanks for the tip! No they aren’t alive anymore. They last a few weeks though

@@NattieHewitt well i think you had too much organic matter like leaves and wood, those things decompose and such a small volume of water couldn't handle all that. Its time for another try haha
